Maintenance Manager(Bilingual Korean required)

Timpl has partnered with a global automotive parts company and is seeking for a Maintenance Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintain and improve all equipment, facility, devices, tooling, jigs, machines, building and ground.
Supervises, schedules and monitors the work of maintenance crews to support assembly lines, plant facility and grounds.
Coordinates work with Team Leaders on maintenance activities, and work with Manufacturing Engineers for new equipment.
Schedules repair of manufacturing equipment and initiates preventive maintenance.
Assists in the repair of equipment.
Trains associates in maintenance procedures.
Orders maintenance parts as needed.
Monitors and control the maintenance expenses within budget
Supervises the assembly and set-up of new assembly lines.
Enforces safety regulations.
Schedule, review and approve associate time sheets in the HRIS system
Plans, organizes and allocates department resources to meet department and company goals.
Promotes an associate relation’s environment that is consistent with long term management objectives.
Works closely with Human Resources to uphold policies and procedures
Prepares work orders and reports.
Establish maintenance repair, building and grounds annual budget, and manage the accounts.
Perform all other duties as necessary.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

Attends meetings as necessary.
Assists with machine repairs and new equipment set-up.

SPECIALIZED TRAINING, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE:

Bilingual Korean & English required
4-year degree in engineering, manufacturing technology or an equivalent field. Will accept experience in lieu of degree.
Journeyman’s card in a skilled trade area desirable.

10 or more years experience in a manufacturing equipment, facility, tooling, etc maintenance and improvement.
Mechanical and electrical experience preferred. Broad machine shop knowledge helpful.
