Logistics Manager (Bilingual Korean required)

Timpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture and is seeking for a Logistics Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

Shipping Management:
Oversee all shipping activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing and delivery.
Conduct daily reviews of shipping checklists and delivery schedules.

Personnel Leadership:

Lead and manage the team, focusing on performance, behavior, and development.

Provide ongoing training to team leaders and members, aligning their skills with operational needs.

Inventory Control:

Monitor inventory levels closely, ensuring that stock is maintained at optimal levels.

Approve and process daily inventory and return part reports.

Emergency Reporting:

Act as the first point of contact for emergency situations, reporting directly to the Manager.

Key Duties:

Daily Reporting:
Compile and generate daily reports on issues, inventory status, and attendance records.

Training and Development:

Implement training programs for new hires and existing team members, ensuring that all personnel are equipped with the necessary skills.

Communication:

Maintain open communication with the Liaison and provide regular updates to the Manager on key issues.

Operational Oversight:

Inspect loading processes to ensure compliance with company standards (e.g., proper labeling, avoiding overloading).

Investigate and resolve any in-process or customer concerns, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Quality and Compliance:

Manage 3C5S standards, conduct regular audits, and address any discrepancies.

Coordinate with the QC supervisor to manage and report on returned parts.

Additional Duties:

Procedure Development:
Create and refine operational procedures and instructions to improve efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Skills:

Strong organizational abilities with excellent documentation skills.

Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is required.
