Logistics Manager (Bilingual Korean Required)

Timpl has partnered with a global leader in advanced battery technology, specializing in lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and mobility applications. And we are seeking a Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities
Materials Management

Oversee inbound raw material planning, receiving, storage, and distribution to production lines.
Manage outbound logistics, including finished goods shipping and coordination with transportation providers.
Monitor and control inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.

Operational Leadership

Lead, train, and develop logistics and warehouse teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Maintain compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and handling processes to improve productivity.

Supply Chain Coordination

Collaborate with Procurement, Production, and Planning teams to align material availability with production schedules.
Work with suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
Manage import/export documentation, customs compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Performance & Reporting

Establish and monitor KPIs for materials handling, delivery performance, and logistics cost control.
Identify process bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
Prepare regular reports for management on inventory status, logistics performance, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
7+ years of experience in logistics, materials management, or supply chain (manufacturing/automotive/battery industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and transportation logistics.
Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP preferred).
Excellent leadership and people management skills with proven ability to lead diverse teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of import/export compliance and international logistics regulations.
Bilingual (English/Korean) is a plus.
