This position will be based at the client’s site, ensuring that all products and processes meet stringent automotive quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Oversee On-Site Quality & Rework Operations: Lead the on-site rework team, coordinating rework activities to meet customer standards and ensure safety. You'd be setting priorities and assigning tasks in real time. * Analyze Defects in Key Processes: Identify and diagnose issues like paint contamination, welding defects (e.g., misalignment, spatter), surface blemishes, or bad fit/gap flush conditions. You’ll determine whether defects originated from company’s processes. * Inspect Incoming Parts & Enforce FIFO: Monitor parts arriving from client company, checking for rust, transport damage, or ordering errors. You'll also enforce First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory flow and alert relevant teams if any stock poses a risk. * Manage Urgent Defect Responses: Take immediate action when defects exceed acceptable limits—blocking defective parts, initiating rework or replacement, and triggering alerts to headquarters for root cause investigation. * Maintain Documentation & Communication: Continuously log rework actions, inspection findings, quality trends, and issues.
